PITTSBURGH – The Bombers had their four-match win streak snapped by Gettysburg, falling 3-1 (27-30, 30-22, 25-30, 29-31) Saturday. Ithaca finishes with a 3-1 record at the Carnegie-Mellon Crossover, and is now 13-5 on the season.

Amanda Hubbard (Horseheads/Horseheads) set a career-high with 24 digs in the match, the eleventh career-high set by the Bombers this weekend. Senior
Jen Cramer (Beavercreek [Ohio]/Chittenango) moved into second on Ithaca’s career digs list; her 27 in the match brings her to 1,649 on her career. Senior
Kaye Haverstock’s (Huntingdon/Hesston, Pa.) 23 digs included number 1,300 on her career. Leading the way for the Bombers in assists was sophomore
Casey Buss (Barnstable/Yarmouthport, Mass.) with 24.
Ithaca next travels to Rochester on Tuesday for a dual match, beginning at 7 p.m. The Bombers last played the Yellowjackets September 16 at the RIT Invitational, and were victorious in three games.
